I'm still working on this one as I have been watching South Carolina's last two games. They seemed the better than Vanderbilt. I have not watched the second half but so far I see So Carolina as beatable. They are a good team but I see our team as better. South Carolina's defense can be overpowered. Their offensive line has trouble protecting the quarterback. The running back is good but was having trouble catching passes. I'll try to update later.

SC is a dangerous team who will be motivated to not lose 5 in a row to Kentucky. I'm not sold on Muschamp being a good coach, though.

This game scares me. I think this is an even match up. At home, I like our chances if we contine to play with the focused intensity of UF and MSU.

I believe this is a very even matchup. Both teams seem to be on the rise. I'm glad this in Lexington and it should be the difference by just a liiiiiiitle bit. Hopefully I won't jinx UK but I will go with them for the win.

I think Matt Dillon has got it about right. We have to play with purpose. I think Mark Stoop has gotten better at keeping us on track. If we play like we have for the last two SEC games, we've got this one.
They have a new offensive coordinator. Last year they had trouble putting points on the board. 12th in scoring in SEC. This year it's tempo. This offense did move the ball vs Georgia. If things are going well they speed up the tempo-tempo-tempo. If debo Samuel caught a pass out of bounds, they ran the next play too quickly to have it replayed…(true story). They ran a flea-flicker pass into the corner of the end zone. They faked going for it on 4th down with a hard-count…somebody moved. #5 Dowdle runs the ball a lot. #1 Debo Samuel gets YAK. He has to be stopped. The Vandy game commentators said #34 RB runs "like a blind dog in a butcher shoppe." I saw their offense fizzle on the 12 yard-line. #3 TE Crosby made nice catches for 1st down. #25 Turner had positive yards in short situations. #3 tight end is available for a first down need. Wide receiver #89 was injured. ?? Their points-averaged last year was 24 PPG. Our defense might be able to stop them.
Defense: At times they ran a 3-man defensive line…this may have put them in the nickel #7 DB seemed to screw up coverage vs Georgia. He looked lost (You can never tell who actually has responsibility on some plays). The slot receiver was left uncovered and scored a TD. I think there are some hidden opportunities in their defense. #3 DT Javon Kinlaw wore #99 last year. This is a guy who must be kept out of plays. He is a beast and got stars over-and-over on my sheet. Very disruptive. #6 Linebacker TJ Brunson is dangerous as is CB #9 Nixon. The Georgia offensive line beat South Carolina. Poor open-field tackling...#44. Saw one other blown coverage for a 30-yard gain. Safety is a suspect position. Watch for UK to attack there. Vandy beat the South Carolina defense on a jet-sweep left. Last year's defense allowed 20 points per game. I think we can beat that.
The punter goofed with one kick of 18 yards. Their place-kicker is suspect. He was 14 of 44 last year including 4 of 14 beyond 40 yards. Kickoff coverage was good in this game.
