    Parking near Kroger Field

This thread is for those who may not have seen this question in my other thread.

I used to park on Montclair but I understand that that isn't allowed anymore. Can someone pass on some good information? Any info is greatly appreciated.

I appreciate it! I just don't know much about getting around Lexington.

No problem. If you aren’t familiar with it, Lexington and the campus can be intimidating/ confusing to navigate.

We parked at KSR bar & grill last week (on Broadway) and took the UK shuttle over for $1 each way. Was pretty convenient for not having a parking pass.

How early did you get there to still have get a parking spot?

I've tried to eat there on game day (twice) and it's nigh impossible to get a table two hours before the game.

My wife and I were in town last Saturday and wanted to go but figured it'd be impossible. I'm assuming on UK gamedays it's gonna be a no-go.

Wound up eating at Shake Shack instead and watching the game on their tvs.

Yeah, with kids, I don't have 4 hours to dedicate to tailgating or hanging at the bar. I have had lunch at KSBar and it was as good a BWs or other chain bar food. They have Blue Stallion Dunkel on tap and that is a big plus for me.

We weren't there till 10:30 for a 12:00 game Were plenty of spots to park. But the crowd for Murray St. wasn't what it will hopefully be for Miss. St. Buses ran frequent.

I know, I think local brews are often over praised, but that is a great beer.

I say "nice" even though I haven't had it but I have heard of Blue Stallion and I love Dunkels. I love any style of German beer.

I had that at Willie's Locally Known (which remains my favorite Lexington restaurant). It's quite good. Side note: I hadn't realized how many breweries Lexington had until a few months back.

We can only spend that kind of time if we drop the kid off at his grandparents - no way would he sit through a football game right now.

I went to Willie's for the first time before the CMU game. I'm not a rib guy, but those were the best I've ever had and it isn't close. My wife didn't care for them though, dry rub ribs are probably a love em or hate em thing.

Definitely throw me in the 'love 'em' category. I'm also a grown adult that loves chicken fingers, and theirs are outstanding.

I haven't had anything there that wasn't great.
