UK-UF Game Prediction Thread

The streak isn't broken this year. Gators 35-14.

I'm never picking UK in this game until they can prove they can win one. They missed their chance last year at breaking this streak. With Mullen at the helm now in Florida they could be back into the elite category in college football. If UK has any chance at all they can't turn the ball over. If they have four turnovers like last week it will be a very long day. Also the special teams didn't look that good either. They have to be good there to win close games. But I don't think this one will be all that close. Florida makes it 32 in a row. Also I am predicting three targeting ejections just to make things even gloomier in this game.

Florida's run defense was abysmal against a really bad team. I think if the Cats don't try to get too fancy and play to their strengths this won't be the blowout people are expecting. But I am not ready to predict a win.

I think Kentucky can run on them and control the clock. If our defense plays like it should and cuts off the homerun plays, then it should come down to the turnover battle. I think Kentucky gets a couple...but unfortunately the ghosts of the Swamp rise up once again. Kentucky misses three field goals and Florida tacks on a late touchdown to make it look worse than it was.

After squandering their chances, the last few years, it is hard for me to be positive. I can't pick against the Cats, so I won't make a prediction, I will just hope for the best.

Yes we have a good running game but the better SEC teams can take that away if we remain one dimensional. We have to lean on our strength but show enough passing ability to keep their D honest.

Heck I am ready for the streak to end. I think it just might. FLA is not great still this year. Yes it is at their place. We should have won in 2014 down there. For some reason (which 99% of the time my feelings are wrong) I feel we get the breaks, or more breaks than they do and win 31 to 23.

Unfortunately, we all know things have come apart and headed south quickly in some past games, Every time I look over my shoulder I step in a hole or walk into a telephone pole. UK: 31 UF: 17. Then watch out for the bandwagon cause it is going to get crowded. It's too soon. UF showed some weaknesses against the run and couldn't run. This is going to be a test of what is suppose to be our strength, our secondary. That may be the only thing that worries me. UF is not Miss State or SC this year. Yet.
