    UK-U of L Prediction Thread

With the hope that we can contain Jackson, and what with their def. supposedly being suspect, I'm nervously going to say the Cats by 10.

Cats by four. Louisville got their best safety back after their bye, but their defense is extremely poor.
we just can't shoot ourselves in the foot.

We need to control the TOP to win it. If we win this game and go 8-4, wow. Just wow. I know there were two "what if" games, but an eight win Kentucky football team is an awesome season, IMO. That's something to build on and will definitely help recruiting. I think Snell has himself a field day and we win it 31 to 21. We need to keep a spy on Lamar all game.

If our DE's can contain Jackson from getting outside this could make it so much easier to give him fits. However I think it will be a shoot out with the last team with the ball winning.

This is my feelings also. If you like watching good defense this will likely be a game not to tune in to.

Too much Lamar Jackson. He's been waiting all year to atone for a fairly poor game against UK last season. I'm afraid he will get his revenge in this one. This series has not been kind to the home team either. UK is only 4-9 against UL when they play on the grocery field and haven't beaten UL there since 2009. UK's defense just can't handle Jackson and the offense just won't be able to keep up that same pace to win out in the end.

If there was ever a game to leave it all on the field, it's this one. If the Cats win by 1 I'll be thrilled.

Vegas has the O/U at 68. I think it'll be over. Louisville began as a 9 point favorite and it's currently at 10.

I don't know how to read UofL now that Alexander is back, but I don't think UofL's defense is going to be able to both contain Snell AND limit our passing game. They're thin enough in the defensive backfield that they have to choose one. Snell still gets his, I think. If we keep their defense on the field we'll wear `em down.

                        UK pulls the upset.

Extremism is so easy. You've got your position, and that's it. It doesn't take much thought. And when you go far enough to the right you meet the same idiots coming around from the left.
