No doubt about it.

To me what we saw today was a legit top 5 team that has had ONE bad game all year, and has competed at a high level against a 7 win team that has had skin of teeth wins mixed in with some promising play.
I saw pre game Georgia had thirty one seniors. Unbelievable.
Kirby Smart took over after Mark Richt and has been building on it.
Mark Stoops took over after Joker Philips and has been RE building.

Our defense right now is outmanned. Not being nasty or negative, just what I see. Our offense JIMO is solid, if unspectacular.
Just me, I would like to see the fan base get excited about recruiting some defensive linemen as much as they seem to over quarterbacks, wide receivers and defensive backs. I know those guys are rare, but I sure would like to see us sign several.

Proud of our team and the way they battled. Gary Daniels takes a dump on you if he thinks you stink and I thought his respect for out team was about as good a measure of how far we have come as any.

For the most part we've done a good job of that. On the Dline we had a few things hurt big time. Hatcher got booted, Tubman got booted, Elam has under performed, and, for some reason the name slips me now, but was it Middleton who left as well? Those four things have lead to us being a little more thin and having to play true freshmen.

UGA backs make a lot of defenses look outmanned, that 3rd dude they had looked studly too. I don't think it was cause of our defense, I would guess he's pretty boss.

Believe it or not, I read somewhere Georgia is 5 deep at running back (thanks to Chubb and Michel staying) and ALL were rated 5 star.

I feel differently. My pecking order is the SEC East first and then the SEC. Also, if Ga. gets hammered, that makes us look worse than ever in my opinion.

No surprise UK lost this one and badly too. UGA just keeps bringing the RB's at you like Alabama does. Which should be no surprise since Kirby Smart is a Nick Saban Protege. Hopefully no bad injuries came from this game and UK will be fairly healthy for UL. 8-4 would be an astounding season and should get them a pretty decent bowl game.
