I believe Alabama had lost something like four linebackers to injury. They are still mighty good, but not the monster they were. Losses to Auburn or Georgia wouldn't shock me.
Auburn is playing great right now. Ever since they blew that game to LSU they have been terrific. I wouldn't be a bit surprised if they beat Alabama. Like you said Bama has been riddled with injuries on defense. They were lucky to pull out the Miss State game.
