    Georgia vs. Florida

9:12 left in the first quarter, Georgia is up 14-0 and making it look like a real mismatch so far.

Georgia is the real deal. While all the experts hype up Penn State, TCU, and others, all Georgia does is go out and slaughter opponents. It's going to be ugly when we play them. They are special and they are just getting started. Kirby Smart is building them like Saban did at Bama. Scary.

That's no joke. They are scary, the way the run the ball and play defense. Still...

I can't shake the feeling we are winning that game. (Felt the same way about MSU though)

One game at a time but if they win that game, they need to erect a monument in Stoops honor. IE...It ain't happening.

With #2 Penn State and #4 TCU losing, does #3 Georgia move up to #2 and stay there until they lose, or does that perpetual overrating of the Big Ten result in #5 Wisconsin or #6 Ohio State moving ahead of Georgia this week or later?

Thank goodness Georgia went up to Notre Dame and beat them this year. Otherwise, like always, they’d have their amen corner poll voters trying to push them into the #2 or #1 spot right now. I don’t know if any team has ever been so perpetually overrated or received as much undeserved benefit from it as that school. The whole country owes thanks to Georgia this year.

If anyone not named Alabama is ranked ahead of Georgia they should start an investigation. I have said for 3 or 4 weeks they will be undefeated and ranked 1-2 when they play in the SEC championship. And I think that will be a great game. UGA is really good. I think they would give Bama all they want. What will be a shame is if the loser of that game gets left out of the championship series. I think it's clear Bama and UGA are the 2 best teams in the country. Just because one loses to the other shouldn't exclude you.

UGA is probably the only team in the country with an offense that can overcome Bama's defense. That will definitely be a good game.

If Georgia and Alabama both make the playoff, it'll be interesting to see if they face each other in the semifinal, or are left to have a potential rematch for the championship.

Either way will draw criticism from partisans of other conferences, and howls from the two conferences that are left out.

Extremism is so easy. You've got your position, and that's it. It doesn't take much thought. And when you go far enough to the right you meet the same idiots coming around from the left.
