We have played 10 D-linemen and all have had their moments and are a solid group.
We get Jones back and everyone else should be healed up.
The defensive set we played in the majority of the game is something we've rarely used so I expect us to go back to base plus rush nickel where we've been more than adequate.
We are developing a really good group of WR's and Bowden is just about to blow up.
Special teams have been very special.
It looked to me like we took a step forward on offense last week.
Tennessee and Mississippi are ongoing train wrecks and we get them at home.
ul is Lamar and little else.
Stephen Johnson - no need to say more.

Of course we've not played up to our potential and are still 5-1. That should cause a thinking person to be optimistic. It would be horrible if we were 5-1 and obviously playing over our heads as then we would have little to look forward to but disappointment.

How about we set the over and under wins for the rest of the season at two. I say over. What say you?
I say over.... we get 3 more.

Troy, five spots behind Kentucky in the coaches poll and favored by 17, was upset by South Alabama tonight.

Beat LSU, lose to South Alabama by double digits...?

Only one. Markell Utsey, big DT, was credited with one. That was it.

Re: chance of top 25? I just tweeted a similar #walkon question to Ivan Maisel on their podcast Campus Conversations. We'll see if they try to answer it.

Think we get three more. I think the potential for 9 wins (!) is out there but we live so dangerously I think we're going to drop at least one going forward that we shouldn't.

I would go over as well.

Think Ga. is the only unwinnable game. I actually think we will see an SEC championship game of 2 undefeated teams ranked 1&2 in Bama and Georgia.

I think they beat UT and Ole Miss. Then get at least one more of Miss St, Vandy and UL. Would be great to beat Miss St and go to Vandy at 8-1 but I'm not sure a win in Starkville will happen.

Just don't see how we lose to UL. Watching them now and their defense is terrible.

I will take the over. I think we get 4 more wins.

Allow me to explain! If they set the number at two you have a bet to make. Do you think the number of wins the rest of the season is over two? Or under two? I think most of us would take the over, which would be any number of wins over two. Now, typically the over/under number is not a whole number to avoid a push. Maybe the better question would be over/under 2.5.

All my fussing aside, this team has found ways to win. They found a way against Florida, it just didn't play out.
I've seen YEARS of finding ways lose.
Ol Miss, Vandy Tennessee, Louisville are all very beatable teams
Georgia has not had its yearly 'whhoooops' game.
Mississippi State will be a very, very tough game. I'm not sure it won't be.The second hardest of this second half.
                            I think 3more wins . 8-4 season.
If anyone would have told me that two years ago I would have laughed.myself silly.

Louisville has blown some folks.doors.off offensively.
they also just gave up over 500 yards to BC who was something like 119 in the nation in offense.

                            I like winning a.whole.lot better.

LOL.....Just wish it didn't have to come with a bottle of Tums for the upset stomach.

We're better than UT, UL, and Ole Miss and we play them at home. Should win all three. Then win one or two at MSU, at GA, at Vandy and we're looking at four wins maybe more. Winning at Starksville would be huge. Put me down for 4 wins as well.

One thing I want to throw in there....I have been one of the most vocal about use of the tight end. In all honesty...
                                1) our o-line has needed way more bolstering than I thought it would
                                2) the quarterback is the final decision maker where the pass goes
                                3) every defensive coordinator we have faced knew very well the first half of the season our receivers were a weak link because of
. Youth, inexperience, questionable speed.....so I'm sure they stressed covering Conrad....we don't even get paid and we are all certain he is
                                . The best option.
                                so I understand.

I would still like to see him get more chances.
