    This is true.

Florida got some very generous spots at critical junctures. Very weak penalty on UK barely pushing the Florida QB out of bonds in the first half.

Still, none of that matters if we made it happen at other points: the first missed FG, the hold on that second to last play, kicking instead of running at the end, not punching it in earlier, etc.

Tough contest. Came away with an L. But Kentucky entered, and left, a game with Florida, toe to toe with the Gators for four quarters. Yeah, I know, Florida isn't the Florida of the Spurrier or Tebow years. They're still Florida, still one of the 14 teams in the SEC. UK's at their level right now. How long has it been since that was true?

At the start of the season, a 3-0 start with a win at South Carolina and a 1 point loss to Florida would've sounded pretty good. It sure would've 12 months ago, or 2 or 3 or 4 or 5 years ago.

I really liked Charles Walker's play tonight. He was outstanding.

Sihiem King averaged over 12 yards a carry, on 5 carries. He was used well tonight, and came through.

Bowden showed some early flashes of what could be a lot of fun to come.

I loved seeing Blake Bone with the big TD grab.

Lol.....I guess I have progressed. For the longest time I just wished Kentucky was competitive.
now I want them to win.
          Funny how that happens

Kinda hard to bring the whole world down on them no matter how miserable this loss is.
I know it was bad. Missed opportunities, dumb penalties, confusion after timeouts, etc. But I agree. People are acting like we just got beat by EKU. We got beat by a top 25 team. The world isn't ending. We will likely be 5-1 in two weeks which is great. I'll take that. Go big blue.

To be frank, I won't. I'd have gladly given away either the Southern Miss win or the Carolina for this win, because this game was about breaking out of those aged constraints of the program ceiling.

We didn't, we haven't, and I leave this game believing we are no closer to ever doing so.

Just how I feel. THIS was the bowl game.

It just feels worse when you shoot yourself in the foot on multiple occasions. Most of the blame lies with the coaches, though.

I agree it hurts worse. But the coaches aren't to blame for giving up sacks or holding. No doubt House cost us 14 points by not having his guys organized but the players have their fair share of the blame. We probably should have won that game 38-14. It's clear we have a good team and have gotten better as a program. They will most likely start out 5-1 with a one point loss to a top 25 team where we absolutely beat ourselves. That's pretty good for Kentucky football.

According to ESPN, UK had a 98.4% probability of winning after going up 13 in the 4th quarter.

                    Unreal, absolutely unbelievable

We can become a better program without beating Florida. If you go back and look at preseason predictions I bet no one picked us starting 6-0 and very few 5-1 which is where we will likely be. So, five wins with a good chance of beating Tennessee, Vandy, Ole Miss, and Louisville. We still have a chance at eight or nine wins this year which would be a huge year for the program.

So much for that stingy run defense.

Apparently ESPN hasn't been watching UK football for the last 50 years.

I never thought I would feel the way I felt after the Wisconsin loss in 2015. We'll, I was wrong.

That was twilight zone stuff there. the 14 points, the high snaps, the balls spots, the holding call, ?!? TWILIGHT ZONE.

First time in my life as a UK football fan that we looked like a better team than Florida. It's tough to hand out praise for The staff after we lose that way; but this game is a testament to how far CMS has brought this program.

                              still...

                              1. I hate going classic UK "full retard" and handing them 14 uncontested points.

                              2. I hate what looks like playing not to lose with the lead.

                              3. UF was MUCH more talented at the line of scrimmage and it was one of their keys to the game

                              4. I HATE not being able to snap the ball correctly. HOW DOES THIS GET FIXED!?!?!?!

                              5. I despise this officiating crew. From my seat, Florida appeared to hold on every play ALL NIGHT and then we get nailed on THE play of the game? Intentional grounding, No call? We lost the game but those jack wagons facilitated our demise.

i think we have a pretty good team...

                              Great atmosphere at the game.
