It was. It just wasn't for the majority of the game, and that's fact. I was watching, and Florida held A LOT on those edge rushes with no call.

Nor sure how our coaches lose their concentration coming out of Time Outs. We are good for 2 or 3 what was that plays every game. Until we can take care of that we will have this same issue.

As usual some of you are so quick to blame the coaches. Yes, they made some mistakes, but just maybe Gran had the game winning play called when the OL didn't block and they got a sack. Or the coaches didn't ask the kid to hold when Snell made that last run, which would have made the difference. Yes, this is a heartbreaking loss, and we deserved to win, but it didn't happen tonight and it was a TEAM loss.

Kinda hard to pull it out against a team like Florida when your defense can't get off the field in the 2nd half.

Exactly. The one call I didnt agree with was the screen on the last drive. Other than that he called a good game. Now, there's absolutely no excuse to have a wide open man twice. Especially coming out of a time out. That is completely on the DC because it's his job to have the guys organized. Especially out of a time out.

I know this is going to get me blasted to pieces, but this coaching staff, the recruiting, development and game planning
...has gotten this team to the place we SHOULD have won.

Everything is going great except the "playing not to lose" game planning. This has GOT TO STOP. What, Gran, you think this is EKU you are playing? The 1st half play calls were flawless. The 2nd half? PITIFUL!

Here is were I blame the coaches. The 1st uncovered WR was lined up on KY side. Couldn't the coaches see that and call a time out? The 2nd time the defense was in total confusion and only had 10 men on the filed. Call time out to get your defense set. But I will also get a little of the blame to the defensive Captains. They should have also pickup that the WR were not covered. Now they may not be allowed to call TOs, it may not be on them. I don't know. Stoop has a history of mismanaging his TOs. If he had gone for the FG at the end of the game instead of running 1 more play we might have won. Stoops also has a habit of playing not to lose.

Absolutely correct. There is no excuse for the right number not to be on the field.
