Snell was country tough today. Very poor effort against an OVC team. Really NOT looking forward to start of SEC play. U.K. STILL lacks SEC caliber line play.Comment

Offense line very inconsistent. Snell out for about a quarter with injury. Came back to play well. Johnson had a very good game. Barker ineffective in two series. Bowden DQed for targeting in 1st QComment

If we cannot get the interior offensive line straight it will be a tough go the next 2 weeks.Tackles are having issues but it seems to me they are worrying about looking inside to help out. Might just be me. I would hope the coaches would give Jackson or someone else (other lineman) a shot at center because what they are doing is not working. Well. Bowdens doghouse got darker for sure. This team is getting tough to get a handle on. The two pre season strengths are nothing of the sort so far if speaking of secondary and offensive line.
for once depth won this game.
For all those that were crying for drew Barker to take the reigns, please rethink. The mental part of coming back from injury is often the most devastating part....and im getting the feeling Drew is trapped in that somewhere. Hope for his sake he finds the road out.
King looked better. The o line....oh my.
The defense showed it was susceptible to the west coast short pass offense. Oh my again.
Certainly a ton of question marks heading into a game where the cats will be underdogs....perhaps large underdogs.

^^^Probably was an unnecessary hit as far as the play was concerned but I hate the targeting call when the "defenseless" player dropped his head before contact and that's the only reason the hit was above the shoulders. Also Bowen had his forearm up on the hit -- wasn't purely helmet to helmet. Real tough call to eject a new player on in my opinion.Comment
