teamchemistry15, stay away from the coffee. I managed to do so for 25 years, and now I'm a borderline addict. I LOVE coffee especially on these crisp fall mornings. If you ever do start, go ahead and buy the Stanley One-Hand travel mug. Maybe the only such mug that is 100% spill proof.

You can only not be a Naturalized Citizen. If either parent was a US Citizen prior to your birth you can still run for office.

I've never been drunk and the only beer I've had was when my dad used to give me a drink as a very small child. He said it was good for the kidneys. No drugs of any kind although I am highly intrigued by hippies for some reason. Love the '70s culture and if I ever stumble upon a time machine I'm going to stay in 1973.

I smoked pot once when I was 21. As for beer, I've never had more than a sip of one. Bourbon is a different story, however.

I'm trying to become a police officer and I've had a number of interviews, polygraphs, and more interviews. When asked about my drug history I give my response of one experience smoking pot and that's it and they look at me like I'm a liar. Apparently it's more uncommon than I thought to not break the law.

Years ago I had a similar experience. Marine recruiter really pressed me on that issue. Like he couldn't believe the possibility that I never tried pot.

I took a puff or two on a cigar while on a Beta Club way back when. But that's it for me and smoking. I have also only drank maybe a half a can of beer and taken a couple of sips of a Long Island Ice Tea. That's it for me as far as drinking too. Neither of those things ever appealed to me at all. Probably because neither of my parents did and was just never around it very much.
