Divergent views to be sure. We feed the ones that visit us sunflower seed. I enjoy watching them. Now back to our regularly scheduled program.

We enjoyed them during COVID times. But, it was hard to watch how aggressive they were with smaller squirrels. That’s wildlife though, as you say. I, and my dogs, enjoy watching their antics. Even if it was unseen damage to my car’s wiring and sudden attacks on the cushions of my patio furniture. Lol. My impression of you is that your squirrels would do no such things.ðŸ‘Last edited by capcat; 05-24-2024, 09:36 PM.Comment

So far, knock on wood, we've had no such problems. They have very strong jaws and teeth, though, as evidenced by the fact that they crack hickory nuts with them. We lost several bird feeders, to them, until we bought a steel one. We have a racoon we've been feeding for some time now. I don't know if it's living under the front porch or just stays there until it's feeding time.We enjoyed them during COVID times. I think it’s boring around here for them. Not as many natural resources as before due to droughts, etc. We don’t have nearly as much wildlife overall as we once did.
