The Pepper Palace. Gatlinburg has 4 locations. The ones I'm most familiar with is at the Mountain Mall and The Village.
Extremism is so easy. You've got your position, and that's it. It doesn't take much thought. And when you go far enough to the right you meet the same idiots coming around from the left.

As surveyor said, it's the Pepper Palace. It's my understanding that they prepare some concoction and, if you can eat it and then wait a specified amount of time before drinking anything, they put your name up on the Wall Of Flame.

Yes. You have to "endure" one of the two or both. I have not done it. My last visit years ago I was unaware of the challenge, or would have.

Just obtained my order from Ed Currie. Reaper Racha, Gator Sauce, Reaper Squeezin's. Also a packet of Carolina Reaper seeds. I believe I will wait until I go back to work to sample the sauces. MD, would you try it just from a spoon or perhaps on something such as a chip?

As far as the pain goes, it's probably not going to matter. Taking it from a spoon would be more impressive, I would imagine. I always have some with my evening meal even if it's at a restaurant, which it is a lot of the time. If I'm having veggies, I'll put it on corn, for example, and eat it all with the first bite. Same way if I'm eating a burger or tacos, for example, I take it all with the first bite. Be sure and let me know how it turns out.

So we tried the Reaper Squeezins and Gator Sauce. I'm not very fond of the Gator Sauce, as it is quite bitter. I could see adding it to something such as an Étouffée. The Reap Squeezins had a very nice flavor and would be great on many different foods, especially chili. Didn't try the Reaper 'Racha yet, but I'd say it's tasty.

In terms of heat, I was ok as long as I wasn't trying to speak, ha ha. We tried them on saltine crackers.

Was in New Pekin, Indiana for a project we're working on. Stopped by Main Street General Store and stumbled upon this. They also have Carolina Reaper Cheddar and Ghost Pepper Cheddar. I'll let you know how it is. It reasonably priced at $5.99

Will let you know. Trying it this weekend. Also could be a good grilled cheese with bacon and tomato.

A little off-topic, but I like these. Chill them first.

I've had two packages and it's got excellent heat. I don't know what sort of cheese the base is. It's a fairly soft cheese, so it's perfect for melting. I've had it stand alone, in an omelet, mixed with eggs and fried potatoes and on a burger. It's better on or in something than by itself, because the cheese is either fairly mild or the pepper is overwhelming. Were it a sharp cheddar, it could hold up to the strength of the pepper.
