MD, when I tried my first habanero, vanilla pudding quenched it real fast!

I've never tried that. On the other hand, I haven't had to use anything for quite some time. I just don't need it no matter what I eat.

It will be a while before these peppers are grown. I think I can try to bhut jolokia...the other two I'm scared to death.

          Will I live ?

Regarding the sauces, what are they like? I was hoping to grab them today but the PO is closed, and I'll be at work this week. Will have to get them next Monday.

I was wondering if the mail lady had tried to deliver them, but had to get them out of her Jeep shortly after leaving the PO. They were supposed to have been delivered, but when I found no package I checked the tracking status and it showed that they "were out for delivery" and a few minutes later "dropped at post office"....

The mail lady probably thinks this is retaliation for that time she accidentally hit my dog!

A slice of white bread or white rice will work, too. The starches work as a barrier. The dairy has a component that binds with the capsaicin to help block it from receptors in the mouth.

The very worst is alcohol and soft drinks. Beer can intensify the heat, as can soft drinks because of the citric acid in sodas.
Extremism is so easy. You've got your position, and that's it. It doesn't take much thought. And when you go far enough to the right you meet the same idiots coming around from the left.

The Gator sauce and the Sriracha I don't know anything about. The Reaper Squeezins' is their hottest sauce unless they have come up with another one that I'm not aware of. I imagine most people would consider the Reaper Squeezins to be very hot.

If you've never been, you oughta check out Jungle Jim's in Cincinnati. They have an entire BBQ and Hot Sauce section.

FANTASTIC store. You need a whole day to take it all in.

Back before we had kids and had time, we used to do a whole bunch of our shopping there. Nowadays it's maybe once a year that we make it out there, but it's fun to browse that section. The Fairfield store is more fun to browse, but the Eastgate store is easier to navigate.

Yogurts work as well. Anything dairy. Chocolate milk, milk shakes.....

It's something else. Their weakness I think is the bourbon selection. I found it pretty lacking, at least at Eastgate. I haven't been up to fairfield in a long time.

I've been wanting to go down to Gatlinburg to the place that has the wall of flame and get my name on the wall but haven't made it yet.
