I'm two steps from the top of the mountain. There's an extract called Mad Dog Plutonium which is rated at nine million SHU's and pure capsaicin, the hottest stuff in the world, rated at 16 million SHU's.

I use a 2 % capsaician solution on a bum shoulder.... it will activate the next morning when I take my shower. Can feel the heat from it 7 or 8 hours later.

Whoa, watch this video beginning at the ~4:18 mark. De'Aaron Fox eats a whole habanero and barely flenches. Matt Dillon, is that you dressed up as Fox???

As De’Aaron Fox continues his autograph and media tour after entering the NBA Draft, he may have just done his most entertaining interview yet. Today, Fox joined Kennedy Hardman on ABC 36 to play a game of “The Hot Seat.” The rules of the game? Answer the question, or eat something spicy. Watch Fox and […]

To a chilihead, Habaneros aren't very hot. Since I last visited this site, I've eaten a Carolina Reaper which is the hottest pepper in the world. It's rated at about 2.2 million SHU's. That was some serious pain. I thought I was going to have to go to the ER. That's the first and only time anything (pepper, sauce or extract) has affected me that way. It wasn't the burning sensation but a terrible pain in my lower back and stomach. Anyone that wishes, feel free to call me stupid. My wife does all the time.

I'm not gonna call you stupid, but I can think what I want. I use pepper and peppers regularly when I cook but nothing I would call hot. Last weekend I made a pot of chili. I had 6lbs. of fresh ground chuck and I used 12 peppers and cayenne and fresh ground black pepper. 3 jalapenos, 2 poblanos, 3 guajillos, and 5 anchos from my garden. I toast these in my mama's ol' cast iron skillet until they brown and blister. I clean them and blend them into a paste, then add to the meat. I use anchos and guajillos when I make chorizo.....YUM!!

How did you learn about that and where do you get that? Is that something a doctor prescribes and a pharmacy stocks? I've never heard of that, and am intrigued.

I don't know what the percentage is, but you can buy something at Wal-Mart and similar stores, called Capsicum C.

While we're on the subject, I recently purchased a bottle of hot sauce from the Puckerbutt Pepper Co. PPC is owned and operated by Ed Currie of Rock Hill S.C. Ed is the man that came up with the Carolina Reaper which currently holds the Guinness Book Of World Records title as the word's hottest pepper. I ordered a bottle of his Reaper Squeezins' hot sauce. I've eaten everything (including the Carolina Reaper) from Cayenne peppers to a five million SHU extract and this stuff is probably a close third to the Reaper. The extract is the hottest thing I've ever eaten.

Had sleep issues this am and came across this video on YouTube. I enjoy some of the episodes of “Hot Ones” and found this entertaining as well.

Chili Klaus cracks me up. Even when he's on fire, he's even keeled and polite.

The orchestra bit was my favorite. Imagine those wind instruments had a spit-valve overhaul.
Extremism is so easy. You've got your position, and that's it. It doesn't take much thought. And when you go far enough to the right you meet the same idiots coming around from the left.

Just wanted to say that a friend at work and I have ordered some pepper seeds, bhut jolokia and Carolina reapers, also some sauces from puckerbutt. It will be a while for the peppers to grow, but still....

I will try the ghost pepper but am scared of the others
