Wow. Hate to hear this. One of the original innovators and trail blazers in rock. He'll be missed.

I never took time to become familiar with his complete body of work, but I really like "Fame".

Didn't even know he had cancer.

        Probably my favorite Bowie song:

        Young Americans

Extremism is so easy. You've got your position, and that's it. It doesn't take much thought. And when you go far enough to the right you meet the same idiots coming around from the left.

Me either. My hubby who keeps up with music more than I, knew his newest CD just got released and was surprised too.

It's easily in my top 5 . Golden Years, Heroes, Jean Genie, Rebel Rebel, Suffragette City, Changes, and Space Oddity are all excellent. I love it when I'm driving and a Bowie song comes on the radio.

Not to mention he made some exquisite knives.

I was definitely remiss in not posting this yesterday. Could someone with tech skills change this to the picture deal instead of the URL?

Ziggy Stardust and Hunky Dory are two of the finest albums in rock n roll history.

                        A true legend. R.I.P.
