Gun/knife thread?

I'm curious as to what happened to it. I went WAAYYY back in the pages and didn't see anything. Anywho, I was wanting to know if anyone has had any experience with the Hi Point carbines. I've had a hard time finding ANY bad talk about 'em. They are reasonably priced and supposedly are very accurate as well as reliable. I'm looking to get one soon. Any info would be appreciated.
