    Daylight Savings Time

Don't forget to run your clocks ahead one hour before going to bed tonight.

Our biggest hurdle is getting our cats on a new feeding schedule. Takes them a few days to adjust.

We have seven cats and a dog. They're all easy to work with as far as feeding goes. It's more of an ordeal for my wife. We don't want them to have to eat an hour later. On the other hand, my wife doesn't want to get up an hour earlier so we kind of split the difference.

My cats didn’t know what to think when I got up so early. There wasn’t this panic of getting their canned treat until I popped the lid ?

It’s hard to adjust to, but a day and I can.
I do like it not getting dark (sort of) midafternoon. That’s important for those of us who have to avoid driving in darkness or the glare of the sun going down.

I think most of us share the same sentiment, just leave it one way or the other. Having said that, I prefer this way.

I agree that it should not change. Also, I strongly want it to be the version we have in the summer time. I'm not sure why that is called Daylight Savings time because that's the season with the most light anyway. That's just another thing that I don't like about it. Of course, if they keep it on the summer schedule, that means it won't be getting light until pretty late in the morning. But having the evenings still be light until almost 7PM would be nice.

If you live in Ky., there may only be one more time change (10/31/26). The state legislature has a bill before it that, if passed, would put us on Standard Time permanently.

Ugh. Why can't the lawmakers get anything right ever??!! And I realize my preference isn't necessarily "right" or "wrong", but being on Standard time would be terrible in the summer. Well...it would make the fireworks shows start earlier in July.

Yeah, I like Standard Time the least.
