In Jeffersontown, about 2 inches. Heard pinging on the windows around 2. A hard crunch on top of ice/sleet. Supposed to snow til this afternoon. We have electricity.

South of Nicholasville in the palisades above the Kentucky river, power is still on and hoping it stays that way! Light to moderate ice on the trees and covering four or five inches of snow.

Our electricity was off for about 3 1/2 hours. It was beginning to get chilly in this old house plus when the electrics off our cats don't have the benefit of their heated houses. Thank the good Lord it's back on and the house is warming up.

Don't mind the snow a bit, but ice storms are the worst. Everything just stops. I've already decided that I'm going to bite the bullet and get that whole home generator this spring.

Here's to a little sunshine tomorrow to help with the ice in the trees!

I am glad you don’t mind the snow. For me I hate it. My anxiety goes through the roof if I have to go out in it. As far as I am concerned, if I never see snow again it would suit me just fine

Official snow total at the Louisville airport was 5.9" snow fall. Weather dude on the news said the reason the projected totals were so off was because the temp in the upper atmosphere changed like 1-2 degrees so we got more sleet instead of snow. Oh well, whatever. Side roads are a mess. A friend that lives near Evansville IN got 14" at his house.

I have been out once in the past 2 weeks. Getting cabin fever. Hope to get out tomorrow.

By way of explanation, I’m Minnesotan who met, married and settled in the commonwealth with a Kentucky girl. The thought of driving in snow is terrifying to her too. I, on the other hand think about what fun can be had in the really deep powder (no, this isn't me. I just wish it were ;-))
