    First Snowfall Of The Season

I don't know how the weather is where everyone else is today but it's cold and snowy here in little ole Corbin. It was cold last night, it's cold today and will be cold tonight with a warm-up beginning tomorrow. The Weather Channel is predicting a high of 70 for us Sat.

I'm surprised some schools didn't cancel today when the Winter Weather Advisory got issued. I'm only sort of kidding.

Apparently the earliest ever measurable snowfall in Lexington was Oct. 19 in 1952.

I typed that too soon. I see several schools are now dismissing early today in Kentucky including Corbin.

Warm and sunny in CO. The mountains are in desperate need of snow heading into ski season.

We were chilly for a few days, but now the weather is nice. 83 with a low of 62. That will continue, warming up a bit through the middle of next week, then some rain moves in.

A local station just said probably will be all snow. I am seeing anywhere from 1 to 4 inches. Gotta love Mother Nature. She definitely has a mind of her own.

About 4 inches on my deck. It’s pretty. Not going out.
