I'd never heard of her until the Stones' 'Angry' video. She's not ugly and has a wonderful body, but she's a lot closer to 'girl next door' than glamorous Hollywood beauty, imo. I see women on the beach near my home in Florida nearly every week that are as pretty - without the personal trainer, makeup, perfect lighting, designer clothes, etc.

TBH, I would group her in the Scarlett Johansson category: really good body but face is nothing special, yet Hollywood drools all over them both. To each their own, but I'm totally in sync with you on SS.

I've said it for decades.

Hollywood is always trying to tell us who is beautiful and who is not.

I've never bought it.

Sweeney is undeniably cute. Her body rocks. I'll give her that.

Some of these people that Hollywood or the Paparazzi labels beautiful, it's the celebrity/fame magnification.

Not political but let's take Trump for example. He's an average looking dude. Hollywood/Paparazzi trumped him up for years as a handsome dude. He's not. He's averagey at best.

Even his daughter. I heard her called beautiful constantly until Trump went political. She's always been average at best.

Maggie Gyllenhaal is meh but I've seen her described as beautiful.

I have met thousands of "average" people over the world who make these famous people seem average. I've met women in Cambodia, Afghanistan, Thailand, China, France and Israel....oh my GOD, Israel, who put celebrities to shame.

The list of most beautiful women across the planet is almost always laughable.

Yet, people who never leave the trailer park read people magazine and US magazine and parrot that nonsense.

I can't judge men but I assume it's the same thing.

I remember Matthew McConaughey before he became a household name. No one was calling him "the most beautiful man in the world". When he blew up, suddenly, he's on all of the lists.

It's a scam to get you to buy products.

All nonsense.

Hell, Matt McC states it plainly. It makes people money. Your average Joe believes what they're told.

Beauty is regional.

Hell, I experimented in a bar once. I sat next to an average looking girl. I thought to myself. I'm going to talk to this gal through 8 beers. I saw it happening. At beer 1, I thought; "eh, she's cute." By bear 8, I thought to myself "Damn, she's at least an 8 now."

I laughed for weeks over it and, hell, still laugh about it to this day.

Beauty is nonsense.

Whatever you think is beautiful is freakin' beautiful.

^A lot of truth there, blueh. It's a personal preference, of course, and we're all wired a bit differently. Personally, I don't find women taller than 5'-9" all that attractive generally. If an individual has had cosmetic enhancement, mentally I lower their beauty rating. On the whole, I much prefer brunettes and redheads over blonds. Dark hair, dark-ish skin with very dark (or, I know it's very rare, green!) eyes is a hard combo for me to ignore (Salma, Halle, Angie Harmon, Emanuelle Criqui, et al). I'd guess if you had a list of 30 'beautiful' women and gave that list to 50 men to list in order, you'd have 50 different lists with some widely different.

As a wise man once said (and I have no idea who): if we all liked the same type of woman, it'd be a helluva fight.

'Sexiest Man Alive' is also 100% subjective.

^Agree, but, by Hollywood/celebrity standards, I don't think she's anything special. If it turns out she can't act, she's had her 15 minutes of fame. Lot of attractive women in show business. Can't survive on your looks alone unless you are exceptionally gorgeous. Which, imo, she's not.
