The Hulkster (Hogan) Dead at 71

Seeing it all over the news. Andre and Hulk now gone. 2 of the big names from days gone by. Hulk been in the news a bunch throughout but he was something back in the day. I have not watched wrestling in 30 years or more. Loved saturday mornings as a youngster with Jerry Lawler, Superstar Dundee, CoCo Be Ware and such.

Another one of my childhood heroes dead.

This one is easier to swallow, as he seemingly turned into a piece of trash in his later years.

In any event, RIP. If there's any justice, Vince McMahon will be following shortly.

I have no shame in admitting that his walk out music was played during my wedding reception.

What is amazing is reading and remembering some of the things he went through and lived to 71. 25 surgeries, 10 on his back.... no telling how many steroids he injected over the years.

Add in musician Chuck Mangione. He was a talented horn player for sure.

"Bellavia" by Chuck Mangione scored every snow day on WHAS-11 for years. Here's some quick nostalgia for my fellow 90s kids:
