I remember rare times when these summer rains can appear to be raining on one side of the street and sun shining on the other side. Just this past week, I was out walking my dog and I could see a wall of rain just across the field. When it got to me, there were no sprinkles, just an instant downpour. I finally captured one in a photo.Comment

Ah… the locust. We had them last year. Yeah they were a mess. You couldn’t sit outside in peace. They even look evil. LOL.
I call them locusts but I think they are actually Periodical Cicadas
