It did get dicey in Jeffersontown. Opened the door and it sounded wicked. I went to 5he lower level with a flashlight since our power went out immediately. Came back on around 3 a.m. Grateful LG&E worked so quickly. I went to the grocery yesterday and have a lot of food in the frig and freezer. Hope all are safe and have power.Leave a comment:

Hope everyone made it through ok. We had some thunderstorms here last night, nothing out of the ordinary. We have more predicted for this morning. If you're still in danger, stay safe.Leave a comment:

Nasty weather tomorrow evening. Most of Kentucky is in the TORCON 5 area. I am very respectful of Mother Nature. Stay safe.👍 1Leave a comment:

Some years we get rain, not usually. 1981, we did. Floods. Seems like about 16 years ago, too. To about mid July we had rain, I believe. 1994 was a memorable year with no spring. 2011 or so was a record breaker. 90 days of triple digit temps. Talk about baking...it was horrendous. Think I need a “survivor†T-shirt.Last edited by capcat; 03-17-2025, 09:52 PM.Leave a comment:
