Best Potato Chips Across America

Potato chips are my great failing. Its probably the reason I have diabetes. I have had quite a few of these from the Northeast to the south. Utz is the brand in this area. I live in. They are pretty good. Also Hanover of Pennsylvania are very good. I used to eat bbq Grippos all the time whene living in Kentucky. I would buy them every time I was down that way and bring back a few bags with me. But my stomach don't allow for bbq anymore so I can't eat them unless I need a laxative. Do you have any favorites on this or one that's not one here?

I'd just as soon have Wal-Mart's house brand (Great Value) as any of the name brands I've eaten.

Used to be a chip called 'Charley's' that came in a big can. Those things were great. Course, when I was a kid just about everything that wasn't good for you was just the ticket for me.

I used to like Moore's when I was a youngin' too. I think it was out of Bristol and was in the stores in southeast Kentucky.

I like Grippos and Kettle Chips. Since eating them is a treat for me, the original Lays chips, not the waffle ones for dipping, are my all time favorite. Guilty of not being able to eat just one. Maybe just 1 bag

I also grew up on Ruffles and Pringles. (not exactly rare or interesting)

Kettle Sea Salt and Black Pepper and Grippos BBQ. When I was a bachelor I used to take the crumbs at the bottom of the bag and rub it on chicken then grill or in the oven.

My daughter is living in Dundee Scotland currently getting her masters. She sent me a back of Haggis flavored chips. Still have not opened the bag.

Anyway Charlie Chips are great. If i had a can of Charlie Chips and an Ale 8 i would be a happy man. Actually i have not had a soda pop of any type since Feb 7 2007. So I will just take the Chips and some tea. lol

I am kind of partial to Lay's potato chips now that I have gotten older. In my younger days I loved Snyder's of Berlin, Pennsylvania.
