I wasn't being critical, I was concerned for his wellbeing.

Van Dyke at Disney's 60th anniversary celebration at 90 was outstanding in itself.

He's always been one of my favorite entertainers, likely in large part for what he's overome with alcoholism and his fantastically upbeat, positive attitude. Andy Griffith was the same way, but not to the extent of Van Dyke
Extremism is so easy. You've got your position, and that's it. It doesn't take much thought. And when you go far enough to the right you meet the same idiots coming around from the left.

Me too, Cathy. Dressed in a Santa suit and all. But it soon became apparent who it was under the padding, beard, eyebrows, and long white beard/ hair. Voice and dancing...no question.

I’m sure KC was joking about JT’s appearance. That he was hard to recognize was a testament to the work done.

I would also add that the loss of his wife wasn’t the only loss Travolta had. RIP to his wife Kelly Preston and their son, Jett. All the best to John, their daughter Ella, and son Benjamin. JT seems to be a devoted father.

I think the care and help Dick Van Dyke’s neighbors rendered, especially making saving his home a priority as he requested, are proof of the love and regard they have for him, and their shared respect for all you mentioned.
