I got off at noon today, and I don't have to report back until Wednesday. Praise God!!!!! Just finished rubbing down two big 'ol Boston Butts and four slabs of ribs with my special tried and true homemade rub. Tomorrow morning, long about 7, my faithful smoker is gonna get stoked up, I'm getting serious about taking excellent care of this meat. Baked beans. Killer homemade potato salad. Silver Queen ear corn. BYOB everybody!

I always knew you were a fine gentleman, but that post is further proof. You even nailed my favorite corn to have! I'm actually off on Monday (yes, really!) and I'm smokin' some ribs, hopefully with some beans, mac and cheese, "creek fries", and some veggies. Of course some beverage will be enjoyed as well.Comment
