Who you got? I'm not a big fan of boxing, but with the buildup and literally years that have gone in to scheduling this match, I am curious to see who will come out the victor. Going with Mayweather with a sense of USA, USA, USA!

Although I'm pulling for Mayweather, I have a feeling Pacquiao will emerge as the victor.Philippians 4:11-4:13 -

Mayweather is an overwhelming favorite and should win this one easily. He's 2 years older than Pacquiao, but is much quicker and a defensive fighter. For Pacquiao to win, he'll have to get some unexpected openings and maybe get a few good shots in.Extremism is so easy. You've got your position, and that's it. It doesn't take much thought. And when you go far enough to the right you meet the same idiots coming around from the left.

I think Mayweather wins. But, I wouldn't pay 100 to watch it. Boxing has been overshadowed by the UFC for a long time. What boxing needs is a few great heavyweights to get the interest back up in the sport. Ali, Foremen, Frazier...was the golden age of the heavyweights. Can't tell you who the heavyweight champion is ....all the different champions that there ended up being made it a bit like fake wrestling....where you have the inter continental champion....from parts unknown. Boxing became too diluted.
Mayweather may be regarded as one of the greats of all time, but I prefer the heavyweights, where the knockouts happen.
The ultimate fighting caught my interest, early on as a novelty. Now, I find it just too brutal and unsafe. It is too much like the gladiator days, where they killed the opponent. They may not get killed, but a lot of severe injuries happen.
I seriously doubt that the sweet science of boxing will ever make a comeback. Today's society prefers blood and gore over skill and the sport hasn't produced an interesting heavyweight division in quite some time.Comment

I'll be rooting for Pacquiao but I assume that Mayweather will win. I'll tell you one thing, I would never pay $100 to see this fight.Comment

Mayweather by a mile. It gets ugly early and often.Originally posted by John Stuart MillHe who knows only his own side of the case knows little of that... I don't care where Manny is from. I'm pulling for him. Floyd already said if he wins he's bailing out murderer Suge Knight from jail. That just sealed it for me. I couldn't stand his punk butt before he said that. I don't hate anybody but he comes really close to it. I hope he gets his clock cleaned. I'm just not into loud, arrogant and brash. Hopefully Manny shuts that up big time. Should be a good fight though. What the heck happened to the heavyweight division? Seems like with Busters KO of Iron Mike, it's been downhill ever since.Isaiah 5:20Comment

Sounded like a snooze fest. Neither fighter connected on damaging punches. Mayweather won because he was slippery. Doubt there will be a rematch anytime soon, especially if Mayweather's fighting again in September.Extremism is so easy. You've got your position, and that's it. It doesn't take much thought. And when you go far enough to the right you meet the same idiots coming around from the left.
