    Cowboy Candy (jalapenos)

Anyone had it? Ran out of lids so I just made them like fridge pickles. It's the perfect balance of sweet and heat. Will last 2-3 months in the fridge. I had about a half pint of syrup left over. This will be good for basting meat on the grill. I brushed some on a few slices of bacon the other day and it was fantastic.

I've never heard of these, is it like a jalapeno based basting sauce?

Edit: are these what you're talking about? They sound delicious. https://www.chilipeppermadness.com/c...apeno-peppers/

I've heard about them but that's it. I have saved some chopped jalapenos for chili and I have 24 nice ones I froze solid and vacuum sealed for poppers this winter. Wright's bacon is on sale this week at Kroger's. Prolly save more. I DO plan on making salsa soon. I have maters, peppers, and onions from my garden to use. Nearly ran out of paprika powder so I grew some paprika peppers. YUM. Can't wait to get them ripe, dried, ground, and on the spice rack.

That's it Dwight. My jalapeno plants have been exploding so I'll be making a lot of this. Got a few jars down already.

Looks interesting. I might have to try that with habaneros and serranos mixed in
Extremism is so easy. You've got your position, and that's it. It doesn't take much thought. And when you go far enough to the right you meet the same idiots coming around from the left.
