    Westworld

I finished the season 3 finale last night for some reason, and after the credits finally, actually rolled, I gave myself the same talk as last season: "I'm not wasting my time with the next season," even though I know I will. This show features just enough interesting ideas to make me want to see it succeed, but good grief, do they fail every time.

Am I in the minority here?

I need to get into it. I watched a few episodes of season one but never returned. I liked what I saw though.

I watched the first season and liked it well enough. Kinda forgot about it, and now I don't really remember what even happened at the end of it.

I need a new show to watch though. Tried watching Amazon's series "Hunters". TERRIBLE.

I'm not sure you do need to get into it. It's a really frustrating show. Flat-out bad, at times.

After a legitimately well-done first season, the show has been a near unwatchable disaster.

Strangely, for all of its high-end production value and obvious attempts at prestige TV, it works best as a big, dumb action spectacle. The only watchable parts of season three were when they just blew shit up. The rest of it was a hodgepodge of incomprehensible plotting and ridiculous characterization/plot-holes.

I'll probably still come back next season, if only because most of the acting is high-grade and it always does just enough to keep pulling me back.

Don't know if you have watched it, but I started watching Dexter finally. I have never had Showtime but it's on Netflix now. Watched the first season. It was VERY good.

Do yourself a favor and stop after season 4 and keep the fond memories of the show.

Everything after is an absolute atrocity.

Yeah I saw that one while it was on. The first season is really good. The season with John Lithgow is GREAT. Beware the last couple years though, it has a steep decline and frankly one of if not the worst ending of all time.

Don't. The ending of season four could work nicely as a series finale.

The last four seasons will erase any good feeling you ever had about the first four.
