It's such a surreal time, especially if one is a Christian. It's as if, from late afternoon on Christmas Eve until midnight Christmas night, virtually everything comes to a halt. It's such a serene time. Christmas Eve, perhaps, more so than Christmas Day. If one believes the Bible, to think what happened over 2000 years ago.
