The stadium where the Colts and Orioles played in Baltimore. I think it was named Memorial. I think the UL player was Lenny Lyles.

I had forgotten about Lyles. If I'm not mistaken, Johnny U. attended U of L, as well.Philippians 4:11-4:13Comment

Yep, Maybe the greatest hockey player ever. I saw him play in DC at the end of his career when he was with the NY Rangers. You could just tell then there was an aura of greatness about him. He scored two goals that night by just hanging around the goal and banging in the rebounds.Kentucky fan since 1971.Comment

If no one gets it, from this hint, I'll reveal the answer this afternoon. This well-known player spent his career in two cities known as much for beer as for their sports teams.Philippians 4:11-4:13Comment

A player at OK State named Reeves had that nickname. Quite a few others too. Enos Slaughter did,the old baseball player from the 40's. Country Joe West an umpire in the MLB has that nickname too. Don't know which one you were aiming for but that's three of them for a start.Kentucky fan since 1971.Comment
