I'm disappointed in our pairs ice skaters. After last night, they were no where near a medal.

Amazing athletes. To be on your team you already have to be one of the best.
the story of the American doubles skating couple is amazing.
White....I remember him as a shaggy haired kid winning gold in the event taken from the X games. Now he's a thirty one year old multimillionaire healing up from a horrendous crash going against 19, 21 year olds.
And won.
The story about the Chinese pairs skating duo...he had to wheel her out on the ice in a wheelchair a few months ago.

Farewell tour for some of these athletes. Doubt we see Sean White compete again, nor Lindsey Vonn. The German couple (she was originally from Russia, he from France) won the gold in skating pairs in her FIFTH Olympics.....which kind of plays out that her first Olympics was when she was fifteen.
As usual, plenty of stories. Plenty of cheers and tears.Comment

Skate boarding is added to the 2020 Summer games. White has said he is going to enter the summer games and then consider the Winter games of 2022 after that.Extremism is so easy.
