    PRAYERS PLEASE!!! UPDATE.

    It's with a heavy heart I ask for prayer for Jessica Linton and her Family. My very good friend and fellow official, Charlie Linton, passed away yesterday. This was so unexpected. I watched Charlie work the late game at the King of the Bluegrass tournament on Friday Dec.22nd. He went to the Dr thinking he had a kidney stone. They found a mass on his liver that came from his pancreas. When I saw him in the hospital, he was looking forward to getting out of there and back to work. He and Jessica have a 3 yr old.

    Please tell your family how Special they are, and look at yourself and settle things with The Lord. Tomorrow isn't promised or guaranteed.

      Really Sorry to hear that. I had a family member go down a similar road. Seemed fine in Sept, diagnosed with a mass on the liver originating in the pancreas, died in Dec the same year. Young kids 2 and 6 at the time...

      Having myself or the wife pass while our kids are little is my most severe lurking anxiety.

                      Some of you may know, I am Chaplin for the Kentuckiana Basketball Officials Assoc.

                      I must add two tragic request for prayer for these Officials and their families.

                      Damon, got a call that his daughter was found unresponsive in her dorm room in Nashville. She didn't make it. I got a text from Damon tonight, he said he was working on arrangements and this was very tough. Please pray.

                      Also, Justin got a call that his sister, who was pregnant, had a blood clot from somewhere and she passed away. He flew to her home in California to be with her Husband and family. He will speaking at her funeral. Please pray.
