    My old house backed up to a nature preserve (I miss it like crazy) that was a nice amenity year round, but in the snow it was gorgeous.

    Since I discovered what a difference real winter clothing makes (as opposed to normal clothing and just bundling up), I love the snow.

        Centuries ago when Ski Starlight was open, several of us would pile into two cars and go snow skiing from midnight to about 6:00 am. Less people, well lit trails and great fun. I'm trying to coax the wife into learning to ski, but she dislikes cold weather. I'd love to go to Park City, Utah in the winter time.

            I was supposed to go skiing on Tuesday at perfect north, but my 5 month old son was sick, so I stayed home with him instead.

            I'd love to go skiing again - it's been since I was a teenager that I went (at Paoli Peaks).
