    Prayers Please! "UPDATE"

In the past couple of weeks I have had a Echo and a Stress test. Doc said my heart isn't getting enough blood so Friday I will have a heart cath. Because of my kidney's, I will go into Baptist East on Thursday so they can prepare my kidneys for the dye used in the cath. Doc also said I have a very stiff valve. I'm concerned but not worried because HE has my back. Thank you in advance for your prayers.

Also, because of this I may be a little late putting the answers to the rules questions up.

Sure will. I have been through the heart issues with my wife. I know how all that goes. Just get well and come back better than ever.

Extremism is so easy. You've got your position, and that's it. It doesn't take much thought. And when you go far enough to the right you meet the same idiots coming around from the left.

Best wishes Steve. If it's necessary, maybe a little "plumbing work" will have you back to 110%.

Aortic heart valve replacement and "bulging" aortic aneurysm repair job survivor here. My procedures were obviously different but were performed at the same time. Steven Etoch, God Bless his soul, was my thoracic surgeon. He saved my life. I had this done at Audubon. I hope he's yours as well if necessary. Replacing the valve was one thing but the aneurysm nearly bled me out. Long story short, I feel INCREDIBLY BETTER with the new valve. I chose to have the pig valve "installed" for several reasons, one of which was I don't have to take Cumadin (?)the blood thinner. Plus the artificial valves make noise lol. Recovery time took a while and I was religious with my PT and lung exercises. I'd say 12 months or so and I was back in shape. Keep us informed LH. Hopes and prayers for the very best on this end.

P.S. This coming Tuesday I'm headed to my cardiologist for my annual EKG and EchoGram tests. With the Echo I can see my heart valve working and actually hear blood coursing through my heart. Extremely odd LOL!!!!

Still in Hospital. Cath scheduled for noon today. I can't put the answers to the rules questions up until I get home which could be tomorrow.

Don't worry about that. It can definitely wait.

No blockage PTL. But my Aortic valve has to be replaced/repaired. Doc said its condition is severe but it can wait awhile and allow my kidneys to recover from the dye. Staying in hospital tonight, and according to my kidney numbers maybe til Sunday. Thankful for you all and your prayers.

Hey, great news overall! Just a little "valve job" and you'll be as good as new.
