Another great comedian that everyone should watch, regardless of age, is Jim Breuer. He should be a major MAJOR star and he isn't, for whatever reason.

Saw Steve Harvey at Comedy Caravan in Louisville back in the late 80s. Very funny guy.

James Gregory I've seen twice - both times at Comedy Off Broadway in Lexington. Funniest guy I've ever seen live and would be in my list of top 5 comedians.
Extremism is so easy. You've got your position, and that's it. It doesn't take much thought. And when you go far enough to the right you meet the same idiots coming around from the left.

I didn't know Comedy Caravan had been around that long. It's an underrated treasure in Louisville.

We went one night a few years ago just because I won a couple of tickets. Wish I could remember who we saw. He was a regular there. My stomach was sore from laughing so hard.

Brian Regan. Have seen him twice at the palace in Louisville. Hilarious. YouTube some stick figure sketches to show your kids.

I loved Eddie Murphy Raw and Delirious but this guy does it in a family friendly manner.

I like Brian Regan. His Radio City show is on Amazon Music.

Another family friendly comedian who has a brand new special on Netflix and who's better than Regan: Ryan Hamilton. The special is called Happy Face. Insanely funny.

Harvey was a staple on the early Def Comedy Jam shows on HBO.

Cedric the Entertainer was on there quite often, and also my favorite: Bernie Mac.

I haven't yet gone with Netflix but will definitely check out Ryan Hamilton. Kevin Hart is another favorite but don't want my kids seeing his act just yet. Thanks for the recommendation.

Years ago I liked Stephen/Steven? Lynch. Not sure if he's still active. Most of his show is sung while playing guitar. What's funny is the gentle folksy music with surprisingly raw/crude lyrics.

Harvey opened stating he was from Cleveland, Ohio. About half the crowd booed or jeered. Harvey responded with that dead expression and a pause and then said, "Yeah, like Louisville is some kick ass town."

Bernie Mac was great. My favorite film of his was "Guess Who", which was a general remake of the classic "Guess Who's Coming to Dinner".

Titus is a comedian that you listen to and you have no idea how he became famous. Not funny as much as just uncomfortable.

Sam Kinison gets into that realm a little bit. I also think Louis C.K. is a comedian that tends to be more cringe-worthy than funny.
No way, man. Louis is hilarious. Probably the best since Pryor.
