        The drums on the studio cut are so prominent that I believe the drummer did all the mixing.

                LOL!! Can't blame an ol' drummer for getting his chops in. When Carly Simon hit the scene, I was mesmerized by her music. Then I saw what she looked like and I, like every other male on the planet, fell deeply in love with her lol. She's gifted that's for sure. Amazing composer. Amazing vocalist. Amazing instrumentalist. She is widely respected by her peers which says a lot. She won an Academy Award. She won a Golden Globe Award. She won two Grammies. She's in the rock and roll HOF. She's in the ASCAP hall of fame. Anticipation, Your So Vain, and Nobody Does it Better were International hits. The more commercial success she had, the more she avoided it. She was abused as a child and struggled with her own demons, but still provided so much beauty for lots of people. One would be hard pressed to find a more successful and respected artist, regardless of genre, in the last 50 years. Carly Simon is a national treasure. JMO.
