    Two Questions about Passwords

Maybe I should make this two separate topics, but here goes.

    1. I received a scam blackmail email demanding a bitcoin payment. The scammers had one of my passwords. But, it was my Wildcat Nation password. I have different passwords for different sites — banking, YouTube, Facebook, iTunes, etc — but the one they had was my WCN PW. Has any other user encountered a similar problem?

    2. How do I change my password. I do not seem t9 be able to find that anywhere.

    Thanks

Perhaps it's because our servers don't have the built in security many places do. As you may recall, this site was hacked a few years ago.

Re: changing your password, click on your username (upper right hand corner of the page), click on "My Profile", click on "Edit Settings", click on "Account" and the first thing you should see is "Password". Just make the change and click on "Save Changes".
