It was a quick and easy victory for Kentucky over Bellarmine 5-0 on Wednesday night. Sydney Langdon completely shut down the Knights offense, only allowing one hit in her complete game.

As good as the final score looked, Kentucky has a couple of problem areas to attend to as they head into the bulk of their SEC schedule. The Wildcats had a couple of positive moments against the Knights but left some worry out on the plate.
Kentucky did start well, scoring two early runs from McKenzie Bump and Peyton Plotts. Unfortunately, Bump suffered a lower leg injury in the third inning and had to leave the game. The status of her injury is unknown as of now.
