Kentucky is adding more depth to the offensive line.
On Wednesday, On3’s Pete Nakos reported that James Madison offensive tackle Cameron Jones has signed with the Wildcats through the transfer portal. The 6-foot-6, 330-pound rising redshirt sophomore spent his first two college seasons with Dukes, redshirting his freshman campaign in 2023. He then appeared in one game during the 2024 season in James Madison’s bowl game against Western Kentucky.
Jones, who entered his name into the portal on April 15, will have three years of eligibility remaining at UK. He’s considered a three-star portal prospect by On3. Jones was in Lexington over the weekend for an official visit. He also visited Akron and Southern Miss.
