If the $9M blob returns, we'll return to the old days wherein the highlight of the game for the couple dozen fans in attendance at Commonwealth, will be the strenuous cheer "FIRST DOWN KENTUCKY!" Old fans can confirm this.👍 4Leave a comment:

I know, but does he want to get hit 50% of dropbacks and lose a ton of games, some by huge margins, over the next couple of years? I would look at the talent on the team and really think what the next few seasons may hold and at least see what other opportunities are out there if it were me. I hope he stays even though I'm still unconvinced that he's a program changer. Still has time to develop and improve, though. I'm not sure exactly how good he is or could be at this point.Leave a comment:

At least a 50/50 shot Stoops returns. How many of the current coaches return, also, is a big question. How many of the players return is another huge question. I have to think Boley will at least rethink his decision after today's debacle.
If Stoops is here, the talent level on the team will be significantly worse than every other SEC team, I believe. We play 9 SEC games next year and I wouldn't expect to win one, much less more than one. UofL will most likely kick out butts again next year with the talent we'll have, so we're looking at 3-9 and then we HAVE to fire him regardless of the buyout, I believe.
And, the new coach, whoever that may be, will have to start all over as the program will be at Joker-era levels of ineptitude. Sad.Tags: None
